Follow-up guide
After you get your next steps.
Use your action plan as a starting point. Official offices, secure official sites and accredited helpers handle private details.
Step 1: save or print your path
Use the print, copy or save-on-this-device buttons in Find My Next Step. Saved paths stay in that browser on that device and are not sent to Vols4Vets.
Step 2: open the official link
Use official VA, Tennessee, county, workforce, legal aid or records pages first. Check that the page is current before you call, drive or enter private information.
Step 3: write down what the office tells you
Keep notes in your own notebook, phone or printed page. Do not send private records to Vols4Vets.
Step 4: come back if you hit a dead end
If the first office cannot help, ask which official office handles the issue. Then return to Resources, Toolkits or Search for the next starting point.
